Made by most famous makers in the UK at the time W & T Avery of Birmingham (engraved in the beam) and retailed by J Fish and Sons of Banham (engraved in the central pole).
Fully functioning with balancing prisms and the beam has an excise seal centrally, authorising their retail use.
The full set of brass weights are a mixed set of George IV and Victorian (so some are close on 200 years old) with some fantastic markings....
