Sophie has always had a passion for cooking, particularly baking. At the age of 17, she worked for Linden Lady making and decorating the chocolates and fudge. With the ambition to run her own business, Sophie took on a new challenge and began to run her cafe in Earls Colne.After building the business, outgrowing the premises, and a move to Great Bentley - the next step was to take on the Vintage Tea Rooms at the Shoulder of Mutton.
"We live a mile away and have always visited when the Shoulder of Mutton was a pub, for family dinners, so it all seemed perfect. We are very excited to be working with both Jon and Jaci in this joint venture and look forward to welcoming you all".
You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon teas in the delightful Tea Rooms and Gardens, or just pop in for a cuppa or a lovely cold glass of something refreshing.
